Founded after the devastating 2015 earthquakes in Nepal, In Your Hands builds schools in rural Nepali villages and encourages health and well-being opportunities for the surrounding community.
We train teachers and offer support to their schools in Sindupalchok.
ROTARY
United Kingdom and Nepal
We have been working with Rotary in Scotland and their partners in Nepal since 2010. Rotarians have raised money for numerous grants to support teacher training, classroom refurbishment and ongoing classroom support in Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot and Syangja districts.
So far we have partnered with Rotary in Ellon, Ythan Valley, Oldmeldrum and Kirriemuir in Scotland and the Kathmandu Mid-Town, Kupondole and The Himalayan Gurkhas in Nepal.
